What a busy couple of days ...

MIL's on Boxing day and I got my dish of trifel urmmm scrummy. And plenty off the lovely buffet that we had. Thank you.

And then yesterday we went to my Dad's and I got a little bit tipsy, well it is Christmas ! My brother and his DD and DS were there too. We had a gorjus day. My stepmum made a wonderful dinner. Thank you.

I'm back at work tonight boohoo! I'm not looking forward to that, it's always dead busy. Never mind.

Am just off to put a slideshow together for on here.

My apologies for being a naughty blogger and not posting. What with cards, work and family issues, I just haven't had time to go on the PC.

I promise that in 2009 I'l be a better blogger and post more often.

I would like to congratulate my good friend Lorna on becoming a Nannie for the 1st time. Her daughter Amee had gorjus baby Jake earlier in the week. CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!!

Well we're off to MIL's in a bit for dinner. I've made my traditional trifel to take. The dish usually comes home sometime in the New Year as everyone is too full to have any today LOL ! I'm not leaving until I've had a dish.

I can't believe ...

its' 2 weeks since I last posted. Naughty girl ! I just don't know where the time goes.

Went out Friday and Saturday and got 2 Secret Santa's. One was made by my MIL (pictured), and the other is safely tucked away, wrapped in shiny silver paper ready for next week. Thank you MIL it's beautiful.

Went to DS's 1st Nativity play on Wednesday. He was an inn keeper along with 3 other little boys. It was lovely, bought a tear to my eye. I was so proud of him.

This week its' his trip on Tuesday and the party on Thursday, which I've got to make 6 little cakes for him to take in.

And I've still got my family cards to make and the inserts to put in my friends cards. Think I'd better toddled off and get on with it.

Well ...

back to normal today. My nephew and niece have gone home and DS is feeling loads better. My brother took us out to lunch yesterday which was lovely.
I havent done any crafting all weekend so I need to get my bum into gear as Ive still got Chrissy cards to make and put inserts in. I hate that job, inserts. Do you ?

Well Id better go and get DS ready for school, he wants his hair spiking. You have to look good when your the inn keeper in year R's play.

Busy day ahead ...

I've got DS's friend here at the min, off to school shortly. Then it's back to do that nasty "HW" stuff ready for my nephew and niece coming to stay for the weekend.
I've still got to finish the box for the wedding card, make a birthday card and do some Christmas card samples for work.
Virgin Media are coming between 12-4 to sort my phone line out. Hopefully it'l be before I fetch DS from school.

Well my brother ...

I've got a couple of samples to do to take into work, and hopefully get some orders.
Just got in from work and the house is all quiet. Even the dogs still asleep. Just how I like it.

It's an order my brother gave me for next weekend. I'm going to make a box for it and decorate that too.

Am going to email him to check it's what he wants, then I can do something different if it's not.

busy day ahead. Town this morning, then its back home to have a clean up before 3 od DS's friends come round for tea. They've requested bolognase, pasta and garlic bread. So no sleep for me today. Never mind it'l be worth it.

I was hoping to get an altered canvas done for their Mum who has just had a little girl. Might manage it while their playing on the WII.

Well as you can see ...

I've added a slideshow of my new cards. I'm feeling totally inspired at the min and have loads of ideas. Time is my only problem. I wish there were more hours in the day so that I could get some serious crafting done.
Had a lovely weekend. Went to a crop that I've been going to for a couple of years. saw some friends that I've not seen for ages, which was fantastic. Didn't get much done as per usual, but the day was great.
DS is on an inset day and wants to do some baking, so its off to the shop in a mo for some ingredients.

New Cards

Well I'm back

from the doldrums and my spirits are back to normal. I must apologise for my long absence. I went through a bit of a rough time and decided not to pass it onto all my lovely friends in blog land. But the girl is back now and on form.
I've been decorating so my precious pc has been in bits for a few weeks.
Also, I've been busy making a few cards for Christmas and for friends and family. Picci's will be posted later.

Thank you to those friends who have been close and to those of you in blog land that have left supportive messages.

Good Morning

how are you all ? I'm still feeling sad after loosing a very close friend last month. I don't seem to want to go out and about, which isn't like me at all.

On the up side I did mange to throw this card together the other day. Think it needs gold on the greeting. What do you think ? I must thank my MIL for suggesting doing Robbie's red breast.

Another week closer

to Christmas and I haven't even started my cards yet. I think I need to get myself organised and get cracking.
I haven't been feeling too good this week and have lost my inspiration for cards and for scrapping. I did manage to make a Thank you card for DS's playgroup. My friend tok a pic of our 2 boys together and I made the card. I'l pop it on here later.

Another week

gone ! I just don't know where my time goes. Well I do, work, sleep and no crafting !

I would like to thank those of you that have taken the time to leave comments on her, so THANK YOU !!! I appreciate your support.

DS loves school and has managed to get a star fpr being good everyday so far. Next week he go in for his dinner everyday and then the following week its FULLTIME finally. For the past few weeks he's been going to playgroup in the morning and they have been taking him to school after lunch.

I didn't cry but he did look really grown up, he isn't 5 until January.

I'm hoping to get some crafting done this weekend. I've got a work mate coming to pick our car up tomorrow to do a pre MOT check on it. That means I'l be home most of the day and can potter in my room.

Soooo sorry...

I've not been around much this week. I'm suffering from sleep deprivation as DS didn't go back to school until today. It was a bit emotional as he looked so grown up in his uniform.
Will be posting a couple of cards in a bit. 2 are samples for Christmas the other 1 was a card I made for a colleagues birthday.

Not much else happening in my world. Looking forward to Dabblers tomorrow night. Proper conversation that doesn't include Nintendo wii's, Mario kart or Sonic.

a mad old week. Not had any time to craft BOOHOO!! Work has been absolutely crazy so I've been shattered. Hence me being AWOL abit this week.
Am hoping to get some cards done over the weekend. Everything crossed !
Where's this heat wave we were supposed to be getting ? Had an email from friend the other day in Cyprus and their having a heat wave over there. Guess that must be where ours is. Never mind

night. It was busy, busy, busy. I was mad to go back on a Bank hol night its always manic. But its over and done with now and my routine can get back to normal.

I've been working on my Christmas cards and getting 1 or 2 ideas made. I'm going modern and traditional, I think those of you who know me will be a bit suprised by what I've done for the modern.

Knock Knock ...

It's ME ! With some more cards. The B/W Sinatra was for a special order (thank you friend you know who you are). The Mices are for my stock and I made the flowers using different punch sizes and inked the edges.

Sorry I haven't been on for a whole week. I've been spending time with my DS and I've been a bit down after the loss of a very close friend.
But I'm back now and ready for the world.

I've joined a new forum as the forum where I loved going closed down recently. The new one seems very friendly and there are lots of people that have been there for years so its fairly well established. Hope I enjoy it as much as the old one.

Well I must dash as tomorrow is Hubby's birthday and Ihaven't done his card yet. Naughty ME !

Hiya...

I'm back from my travels. Had a great time with Hubby and DS. The weather was mixed which meant we didn't get to go to the beach boohoo! But we did get out and about to various places. The Sealife centre was a fav with all of us. DS espaecially liked walking through the tunnel of fish.

We saw a lot of surfers as it was Ripcurl while we were there.

Didn't have a Cornish pastie or Cream tea, but we did have a gigantic piece of cake. Neither of us could finish it. I wish I'd taken a pic now.

What have you lot been up to while I've been gone? I see Viv and Issy have been busy with Tilda's and punch art. Gorjus cards ladies.

Soooooo Sorry...

for being awol over the past week. I've been busy with an order, work and my gorjus DS.
I know I said that I would be putting some pics on but I just haven't had the time. Very naughty of me I know. Aplogies.! Yes I know it's spelt wrong, it was sent to me on an email at work and I thought it looked good.LOL.

Well I'm going to the seaside for a few days so am going to be awol again. When I get back there will be no getting rid of me and I'l be boring you all with the picci's.LOL

Just off to pack a few crafting bits that hubby has said I can take. Decisions decisions, what will I choose ?!

Good Morning...

campers. Sorry for being awol for a few days Trying to fit work, DS, crafting and blogging in has proved harder than I thought.
I have managed to make some cards though. They'l be on display later.

What great weather we've been having. I just hope it holds out until our holiday. WOOHOO ! a whole week in Cornwall. Can't wait it's my favourite place. We last went 2 years ago when we got married and hubby took us to Fifteen, Jamie Olivers restaurant. It was fantastic.
Still got a while to wait before we go. Am sooooo looking forward to it.

nearly the weekend thank goodness. I'm shattered.
We went to the local park earlier had a little run around and climb. Off up into "my room" in a min to have a bit of a potter. Need to get some ideas made up before my head fills with something else.

I've been up to this week. I've managed to delete a slide show from a previous post and put it in a post for today. How? I do not know ! I'm just a calamity ooops !
But I have made a new slideshow with what I have been making this week.
I will be a bit more productive now DS has finally finished school for the summer. Yes really this time.
He was given a certificate from Playgroup to wish him well at "big boy" school. He will be going back for mornings just for the first few weeks. School only take him part time until the middle of September. He's really looking forward to it even though he's not in the same class as his best friend.
Tap Tap !! Just checking you haven't nodded off yet LOL.

busy week. Work is mad at the minute so I haven't had any time to craft this week. BOOHOO !
Went to Dabblers Scrapbook club tonight. Made a lovely mini book and started a star card. Will post pics tomorrow.
It was lovely to get out, see friends and have a chat.
Got an anniversary card to make tomorrow and some stamps to have a play with. WOOHOO ! can't wait.

day its been. The suns gone in but it's still muggy so I think we may get a bit of rain. We need it to freshen the air.

How daft am I ?...

Don't all shout at once LOL. There's me getting myself all prepared for DS finishing school tomorrow and guess what ? He's still got another week ! He doesn't finish until the 22nd. Never mind.!
So serious craft time is put back by a week. So those little ideas floating about in my head will have to wait another week.
Scrapping Dabblers Friday and the subject is journalling and ME! Journalling no probs its the pic of me thats scary. I've only ever scrapped myself twice. Will put all 3 LO's up after Friday. Or I might just wait til Halloween scare the Trick or Treaters away LOL !

back !!!! Thank goodness for that, I thought it was going to be a new PC for a minute there. But my trusty friend is all fixed now.
Haven't done much this week, just pottered in and out of my room, bitting and bobbing.
Thank you Steph for a lovely crop. You're kits are great.

I've had some sad news today about a close friend. She's been diagnosed with cancer. It's floored me to say the least.

Hopefully this week I'l be more productive as DS finishes school on Tuesday for the summer. I think by the time September comes I'l be well practised on the WII and be able to beat the best of 'em at Mario kart. LOL.
It's scrapbook Dabblers on Friday, so I've got something to look forward too.
Good see that not all the choccy biccie's have gone while I've been away.

What has happened ...

to the lovely sun again ? It's very dull and dreary here this morning.

We went to Steph's 1st crop yesterday (indigomill in the blog list). Very good day. Met her Mum and her design team. All fabulous scrappers.
Her kits are gorjus, just gorjus. Pop onto her blog and have a look, it's well worth it.

Back to work for me tonight BOOHOO !. I've had a great week off crafting. Unfortunately I haven't done as much as I wanted, but it's been fab.

I'm off to do a tour of my fav places. Have a fantastulistic day and I'l be back later with pics. Watch this space for a new slide show.
