P is for pretty little girl and ...

Pearls as requested in the ABC challenge. I've combined it with the sketch over at Stamp with fun and used this cute Sarah Kay girl. All the papers, card and pearls are from my stash, the beige card has been put thru my CB with the Damask folder and then inked. The flowers are hand punched and inked. Finally I added a sentiment which I've never used before from one of those little 99p sets.

Thanks for having a look on this wonderful sunny day, please feel free to pop in anytime.

1st post of the day 1 card 3 challenges ...

1. Creative card crew's challenge is to use flowers, which I have 4 paper, 2 gem and 1 fabric. Wow 7 on 1 card that's alot for me.
2. Sketch n stash as always like us to use our newest stash or something we've not used before on the sketch above. The newest things on this card are the paper flowers purchased last week, and the stamp I got last year but have never used it and boy did I have problems inking it. About 7 attempts before I got a decent image. The stamp, bubble paper and paper flowers are by Imaginisce. the background paper is by English paper company and everything else is from my stash.
3. The secret crafter only posted this challenge earlier this morning. A colour combo of Pink, Turquoise and a hint of brown. Papers and colours fit the bill I think.
I think I've fulfilled all the challenges and have really enjoyed making this card. I've put "Happy Birthday" round the circle in Hawian. Good old Google !

Ta for popping in and haveing a look, please feel free to leave a comment and pop in anytime for a glass of ice cold lemonade.

4 challeges, 1 card. Phew just made it...

1. Just Magnolia's challenge is a shaped card.
2. Colour create is a colour combo challenge of lemon, pink sorbet and chocolate.
3. A spoonful of sugar are asking us to dig out our lace for our cards.
4. One stop craft challenge are asking us for vintage creations.

I think I've fulfilled all of those by using paper by papermania, a Magnolia image coloured with pencils and sansador and lace and ribbon from my stash. The flowers are hand punched and have been distressed and inked with brown chalk eye.

Phew that was a mamouth task, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

1 card, 3 challenges, I'm on the crest of a wave .

Over at Daring cardmakers the challenge is wet, wet, wet. Anything to do with water. So I thought with the summer on the horizon I'd use my surfer dude. Cool eh ? The sketch is by sketch saturday and over at papertake they want us to use us all our scraps that are lurking in dark and dismal corners. So thats what I've done.

Oh what a night ...

round 2 of DS's friend staying over. He came on Tuesday but we had to take him home because he got distressed and din't want to stay. He said he wanted to stay last night so his Mum said he could but he was to be a good boy and not go home. Uuuurrrmm at 11 o clock he dropped off on my knee after a number of texts home. BUT WE DID IT. Phew !!!
Today I'm crafting, crafting, crafting and nothing ain't gonna stop me. I've had some new stamps since the weekend and they haven't even seen a sniff of an ink pad. There's no holding me back today. Hubby is chief cook, childminder and bottle washer today. With the help of my SIL who will be over later with her 4 and her new "friend". I can feel a classical music moment coming on.

Well thats the kids sorted so I'm off to get dressed and get in my sanctuary.

He shoots, he scores ...

over at cute card thursday their challenge is all to do with sport. So here's my sporty themed card.
The card and ribbon are from my stash. I put a piece of acetate thru my CB using the Happy birthday folder. The image is by woodware, it's one of those that you buy and don't use that often. So this challenge was great for me as I've not used this stamp for months.

Thanks for coming and having a look at my blog and my cards. Please feel free to laeve a comment and pop back whenever you like.

Have got my friend cuties this afternoon, we were going to go to the castle, but I think it'l be kiddie crafts. Her youngest boy took an interest in a butterfly I'd made with shrink plastic, so think we'l have a play with that.

card to cover 2 challenges.
Over at Cupcake they have given a sketch to follow (above) and on Secret crafter they would like us to do a card for a new beginning. As moving is a theme with me this weekend I decided to do a New home card.
The image is Pink Petticoat and everything else is from my stash. In fact the papers and the bird stamp at the bottom were free off mags ages ago. Hope my friend likes it. She does love her pink.

Am absolutely shattered ...

after moving my friend yesterday. How eventful can 1 day be ? VERY ! There were frayed tempers and stress by the end of it. But their in and thats all that matters. All we've got to do at the old house is clean it and get it ready to be inspected by the letting agent. No problem !
The kids were great and really well behaved, which isn't bad because they didn't have anything to play with at the old house.

Off for a bit of retail therapy today with my MIL, to The Range. I need to get some acrylic paints so that I can finish their house warming pressie. And who knows what might fall into my basket. LOL.

Off to get ready aswe've got to take the van back and then off to Loughborough. Have a fab day.

Bet you can't. LOL. Any way onto the challenges, all 3 of them, yes I said 3.
1. Papertake is to follow the wonderful sketch above.
2. Colour create is the colour combo Sky blue, tan and ecru. Although mine looks more terracotta.
3. The Pink elephant would like us to use letters or monograms, hence DAD.
Everything is from my stash and I used a new inkpad which turned out to be a bit of a mistake I think Ooops ! I've given my little chap grey hair and a pair of glasses. Uurrrmmm recognise anyone ?
Thanks for dropping by and having a look at my blog and hopefully leaving a comment.

Sweeties ...

is the challenge over at the new allsorts challenge blog. You can make whatever you wish for this weeks challenge as long as it reminds you or looks like or holds SWEETS !

I made this card for my friends Dad for her sweeties to give him. I had already coloured the images a few days ago and intended the card for another challenge, but it just didn't work out that way. And then I got sent the link for this new challenge. Strange how things work out eh!
All the colours remind me of sweets and my fav choc Coffee cream. Scrummy ! And her children are all sweeties.
All the card is bazill, the paper is by K and Co but can't remeber the range. The images are Magnolia and coloured with pencils and Sansador. The sentiment is from a set by Clear stamps.

Mens cards is the challenge over at The Sugar bowl, any age and any relation. I chose to do a Granddad card from a young child.
Over at Raspberry ribbons it's the sketch above that they would like us to follow. I think the simpler sketches make good male cards.
Card n paper: Card is SU and bazill. Paper is from my stash and have no idea what it's called. Sorry.
Image: Sugar nellie.
Embellies: Ribbon from Cathy's blog candy, tyre tracks from one of DS's cars abd DS's hand prints.
Sentiment: Hand written.

2 challenges, 1 card...

the 1st challenge is over at Creative Belliblog and thats to use giant brads, eyelets or hardware. A tough one for me because these brads are the biggeste I've got and they don't seem very giant to me. LOL !

Then over at Dutch Dare they gave us this wonderful sketch to work with. I love sketches, they never turn out how you imagine for some reason.

Card n papers: SU card with Paperloft "Well worn" paper (one of my favourite ranges). And a bit of bazill.

Image: Stampendous I think (it's worn off).

Embellies: Hessian and 3 giant brads that I stamped on with stazon ink and sanded the edges.

3 challenges, 1 card and the last one before I go to bed ...

1. Papertake weekly challenge this week is Spotts and stripes. Wonderful, I love stripes and I've even put them the right way on this card. Usually I put them the other way.

2. Blue and Green is the theme on A Spoonful of Sugar this week. Fantastic my fav colour combo at the min. How lucky is that ?!

3. The sketch above is the challenge on Stamp with Stampavie and more this week. I love this sketch because it's clean and crisp, great for a male card.

Now then what did I use ? Oh yes a Mgnolia image coloured with my usual medium, pencils and Sansador. The stripey paper is Junkitz I think, not sure because I found it lurking at the bottom of my box yesterday. I've had that sheet about 2 1/2 years. The spotty paper is from the English Paper Co Seafoam range I think. Urm. The ribbon is DB and everything else is from my stash.

The 2nd challenge is over at ABC challenge and thats a list of embellies that must be included in your project: 1 ribbon, 3 flowers and 6 brads. they are all on my card, have checked my list twice just to make sure.
The baking paper is from Imaginisce A shore thing range, the brads, ribbon and big flower are from my stash. the 2 smaller flowers are hand punched and inked.

1 card, 3 challenges ...

1. Stamp with fun would like us to use the sketch above, which I've done. Hope I've managed to pull it off ok.
2. Cupcake craft challenge gave us the massive challenge of using 5 DIFFERENT embellies. So I used The bucket, string, the hessian, the sandpaper and the shells. i did add a wooden fish too in case the bucket and string only counted as 1. Phew that was a challenge and half LOL.
And the 3rd and final was Roses on paper which gave us a lovely colour combo to go with. Aqua, peach and butter.
The aqua is the backing paper which is from Imaginisce A shore thing range. The main card is butter coloured. Finally I added a peach bucket to the Rachelle Anne Miller beach image, which is coloured using pencils and Sansador.

The big raindrop was put thru my CB using Swiss dots folder and then heat emboss with holographic powder. The flowers were punched from the same paper as the backing. i inked the edges and added a blue pearl to the middle.
