Card for another 2 challenges ...

1. Friday sketchers
2. Colour create asked us to use green, orange and brown on a male themed card.

The image is SN coloured with pencils and Sansador. All the card, paper, wool and buttons are from my stash. I did rotate the sketch to accomadate the image and replaced the flowers with buttons.

2 challenges, 1 card ...

1. Daring cardmakers want us to use our biggest embellies and this flower is the biggest and brightest I've got.

2. Secret crafter are asking for shaped card this week. I love this little handbag and seeing as big accessories are all the rage this summer. I thought I'd combine the 2 challenges and make this summery handbag.

Everything is from my stash. The card is Red hot bed, the little flowers I made out of shrink plastic and coloured them with Sakura's and the flower I have no idea wher thats from.

at the min. Am off to watch American cradfts on QVC before getting DS ready for school. The weather is a bit murky this morning so it's back to trousers today, much to his annoyance.
Will have plenty of time to do some challenges as I wasn't at work last nite, back in tonite boohoo !

I've been stamped ...

by Dee and Robin at Doodle Palace. I win one of their digi stamps of my choice as long as I become a foloower and put their link on my blog. Good eh ! It was a lovely suprise when I got home from work this morning. So thank you ladies.
Didn't get any challenges done yesterday unfortunately. Today will be better. The suns out and DS is going to wear his new school shorts. with his short hair and shorts he looks like a WW2 evacuee. Bless him.

Hello, Hello, Hello ...

and how are you today ? It's a bit chilly this morning, although I'm hoping that it'l brighten up later.
Only managed the 1 card yesterday. BOOHOO 1 Today I really want to get 3 done. 2 challenges and 1 for a colleague.
Just a quick pop in this morning to say "Hello, hello how are you ? Hello, hello it's good to see you."

3 challenges, 1 card ...

I love this digi image from Dustin Pike, it's one of his freebies. I love dino's and think he's so cute. So that's the 1st of my challenges sorted, at Dare u 2 Digi stamp they are asking for things with wings and you must use a digi stamp image.

The 2nd challenge is over at Our Creative corner where the challenge is to use your own favourite colour combo. Mine at the min is blue and green, the brighter the better. hence the glitter and bold shades.

And the last challenge but by no means least, is for the sketch at Truly Scrumptious and turn it into a childs card.

All really inspiring challenges I think. All items are from my stash. The glitter is done by using ds tape on bits of card and the glitter rubbed into the tape. I added some string to the kite to give a 3d effect. The dino's hand and face are deco'd.

Morning all ...

It's 03.52 am and I've just got in from work. I would've been home sooner but some inconsiderate person blocked me in. A bloke !
I'm going to sort out which challenges I'm going to do this week and make a list so taht I can keep track of them. I love lists, they make life so much more organised. LOL.
Hubby is off today so I won't be back on until this afternoon after I've had a big sleep and made a couple of cards.

As promised ...

earlier. These are the card designs that the ladies made yesterday at the demo. they are all done using SU products. All gorjus, but my favourite is the flutterby one as I love butterflies. Thanks again to Tracey, Anne, Jayne and ALL the lovely ladies that came along for making it such a great day.

1. Just Magnolia which is to use the colour combo Pink and Green and of course a Magnolia image..

2. Stamp with Fun which is a sketch that I haven't copied so sorry you'l have to go and have a look on their blog. How daft am I ?

Everything is from my stash. I've had the rafia for ages and have never found the right project to put it on, but I think it looks great on this. The pink card was put through my CB using Paisley folder and then inked with a green versa.

Well what a day ...

we had. It was great ! All the ladies at the demo were lovely and have asked us to go back again. I really enjoy doing but I was shattered last night.
I was going to put the pics of the cards on, but the batts have gone in my camera. I'm not happy about it cos they've only been in a week. So there all on charge so later the pics will be on.
I'd like to thank my friend Tracey for asking me to help with the demo. This is the 3rd one I've done and I love it. It's something different for me and I love meeting all the different people. So THANK YOU.

Off to do some challenge cards, there are a few tha are really inspiring me at the min. Batteries permitting I'l be back later with the pics.

Just a quick pop in ...

this morning as I need to go and get ready. I'm being picked up at just after 8am. An impossible task I hear you cry. I'l be ready, fingers crossed and the help of 2 policemen (wish I knew what that meant ).
I'l put some pics on later of the practice run cards. There lovely if I do say so myself. LOL.

It's the WEEKEND WOOHOO !

No more work for me til Sunday. I'm a abit busy this weekend as I'm doing a card demo tomorrow with some friends so not much time for crafting. no doubt I'l manage to squeeze some in at some point. LOL.
Lovely sunny day at the min, not sure how long it'l last.
We had to cut DS's hair last night as I found a little visitor in it. Just the 1 and it was dead. he's never had them before so we've been lucky. Never mind it happens when their at school.
Didn't get all of the challenges done I wanted to, but there's always next week. I've already planned some out I just need to do them. Oh how I wish there were more hours in the day and that I didn't have to go to work. I could craft all day, everyday. Bliss, sheer bliss!
Well I'm off to a bit of blog hoping and then get DS ready for school.

Does my blog look big in this ?

I fancied a blog change so here's what I chose. What do you think ?

It's lovely and sunny here, but a bit chilly. I love it when the weathers good. Everyone seems alot happier and there are more smiley faces about.
DS is playing on the WII and having a conversation with, well himself I think. He often does it and sometimes to David who ever he is. Am not quite sure how he managed to get on there as he's not supposed to play on it before school. Think he snook on while I've been on here. Crafty little chap. LOL.
There's a couple of challenges I want to get done today, so I'l be back later with teh pics.Off to get DS's brekki and get ready for the school run.

Not my usual colours ...

But I like it. 1 card 3 challenges. And here they are:

Creative Belli Blog which was to do some dry embossing, so I got my trusty CB out and it's Swiss dot folder and away we went.

Colour Create is Pink, Black and White this week. Not my usual colours but thought I'd have a bash.

Cupcake Craft Challenge is this wonderful sketch.

All the card and ribbon is from my stash and the images are by Great Impressions.

I used 2 different pink inks for the background and then stamped the images with a raspberry colour. I then covered each one with Versa and emboss them with holographic powder.The black card was put through my CB and then inked with white.

Morning All ...

how are we all today ? I feel great as the sun is shinning and we're another day closer to the weekend. Can't wait.
Have got more challenge cards planne today, so hopefully I'l get them done. Didn't realise how much I'd missed my bl;og and challenges. It's good to be back now DS is back at school. He announced yesterday that he'd like some shorts for school like his friend Isaac. Guess its up to Asda for me at the weekend LOL.
Hubby is off to Brighton today delivering so he'l not be back til late afternoon. Plenty of crafting for then.

Well thats me done for now. I'm off to get my cuppa before DS gets up.

1 card 2 Challenges.

the 1st challenge is the fabuluos Just Magnolia. I think the title speaks for itself. And ...
2nd is Stamp Something where the colour theme is Green, Blue and Yellow.
Everything is from my stash. The ribbon is Doodlebug, the brads are Dovecraft and the flower was free off a magazine.
I love this new Magnolia image and I think the colours are great.
Not sure what the paper is. Uurrrm I should take more notice.

Here are another ...

2 cards from the order I did for my bro. This has got to be one of my favourite images. I just love it. It's from SU and the sentiment is from one of those little £1.49 sets.

I can't take credit for this design as it was originally done by my good friend Tracey. Again the image is from an SU set. I like this card because of it's simplicity.

Well it's lovely and sunny here, but a bit cooler than yesterday. DS is grumbling in the background, he doesn't want to get dressed by himself. Life's hard when you're 5.

I'm off to have a cuppa as I only walked thru the door about 20 mins ago. Late vehicles at work. Wish I got paid overtime. Never mind.

A Few cards ...

All these cards are from the order I did for my brother. This is from a SU set. The paper is SU, the ribbon and brads are from my stash.

Another SU set, in fact everything on this card is SU except the ink, colour and sparkle.

The image is coloured with pencils and Sansador. I used my CB Script folder for the top matt and went over it with a gold ink pad. the patterned paper is from my stash and the hearts are punched and edged in gold.

Well it's ...

SUNNY ! and back to school for DS. He's all dressed and ready to go, we've just got to go through his words and his reading book. Not a problem as he's very good at it and loves books which is great.
Can't wait to get back on with some challenges, there are 1 or 2 that are inspiring already so I need to do those.
I've just finished a 32 card order for my brother's lady (pics to follow). Another reason why I've not been around during the holidays.
Also now I'm back I'm hoping to ... no I'm going to keep it a suprise. Watch this space !!!

Take a look ...

This was for my new gorjus nephew, Marshall.

I used a quilted effect again, but rolled the corner down to add the greeting. What a job I had keeping it in place. I think the finished piece is quite sweet.

My Dad asked me to make a card for my Step mums birthday. Again I used a style I'd made recently with the 2 cards inter folding. I lve this type of card.

How late am I today ...

Where has the time gone. Sorry for my absence over the past few days. Things have been a bit hectic here what with 1 thing or another.

Looks like its gonna be a lovely day, which is good. DS loved his trip yesterday. Couldn't remember what he'd seen, but thats normal for him at the moment.
Didn't manage any serious crafting yesterday. I'm hoping today will be more productive.
