Finally ....

I managed to get some time in my craft room to do this card for the Just Magnolia challenge. This week it's the colour combo of Pink, Grey and an optional other.

The card is SU and bazill, the verse is from the dictionary and the ribbons and gems are from my stash. The image is Tilda coloured with pencils and ansador.

SOPHISTICATS Challenge Wk 3 and it's ....

Stef's turn this week and she gave us this wonderful sketch to follow over at SOPHISTICATS challenge blog. Thank you Stef for the inspiraion.

I made 2 pieces for this weeks challenge. I made a girls card 1st as DS was off to a classmates party at the weekend. And then I thought, "I always make cards and usually girlie stuff". Time for a change. I've had this doorhanger for ages so I thought let's do that. And here we are.

DOORHANGER: Card is Papermill, the image is off the web coloured with Sansador and the brads n rub on's are from my stash.

THIS CARD: I have no idea what make this image is as I got it when I 1st started making cards from a friend and she is coloured with pencils and Sansador too. The paper is DC, the flowers are Bazill Bittie's and hand punched, the sequins, brads and gems are from stash. The sentiment is froma £1.49 set.

On your Wedding day ...

For my friend to take to her cousins wedding tomorrow. The card is Bazill, the paper is BG Urban Couture that's been in my stash for years. The flowers are all hand punched and embossed.

The poem is printed on card that I got from Photo paper Direct. It prints up beautifully and I'm very impressed.

I decorated the inside too, now all I've got to do is make a box. That'l have to wait until the morning now.

2nd post of the day so far ...

Am on a roll ! 1 card 4 challenges woohoo !

1. Cupcake crafts - Distressing techniques. I used the scissors to distress the edges.

2. Stamp with fun - Autumn. These are my fav Autumnul colours.

3. Stampin something - Fav colours or papers. I used my fav colours.

4. The Pink Elephant - This fabulous sketch by Robin Willis.

The card is SU and Papermill, the papers are SU, the image is SU and the hessian and raffia are from my stash. I hand punched the flower and leaves. The sentimant is from a £1.49 set.

Winter wonderland ...

1 card 4challenges, here goes.

1. Allsorts challenge - Snowflakes. I used my snowflake CB folder.

2. Basic Grey challenge - Embossing. I used my CB and heat emboss the sentiment. I used paper from the Fruitcake range.

3. Just Magnolia - This brilliant sketch by Bev.

4. Pile it on - Punches. The snowflakes are hand punched.

The card is SU and Papermill, the paper is BG, the ribbons and pearls are from my stash and the snowflakes are hand punched.

The sentiment is Stampsaway.

Aaaaarrrrggghhhh !!!!

I was going to do 2 posts, yes 2 posts for various challenges BUT ........ the batteries have gone in my camera. Can you believe it. Aaaaarrrrggghhh ! It'l have to be in the morning now. Oh humm.

SOPHISTICATS WEEK 3 ... Oooohhh that'l be ME

Making the challenge over at SOPHISTICATS challenge blog. This is my sketch and the card that inspired it.

The image of these wonderful land girls is off t'web and was chosen for a friend who asked me to do her Mum's birthday card. The card is SU, Papermill and local craft shop. My flowers are hand punched ad the ribbon, gems and brad type thingy's are all from my stash. The sentiment is pc generated.

I must thank my lovely boss Lisa for doing the post on the SOPHISTICATS blog as I was having technical difficulties with it.

Just a quick

Pop in while it's still dark. Well what a day I had yesterday, I was so busy, but not crafting BOO HOO !

We took Ds to school complete with footie kit for after school fottie club. He's been waiting since reception to join and he LOVED it ! Any way then it was off to the hospital for me. We got there very early but the time passed quickly and my turn soon came after being weighed ( better than I thought), I've lost a bit of weight which is good, blood pressure, height an BMI. Then I finally saw the Dr, not the one on my letter. I didn't mind 'cos he was extremely nice and helpful, explained everything really well.
I've got to have what they call NON AGGRESSIVE surgery as a day case on my BIRTHDAY and WEDDING ANNIVERSARY of all days ! Then it'l take 4-6 months to see if it's solved the problem. If not then it's back to square one. Oh humm !

My house is going to be full of children today as my SIL and her 5 and hubby's 8 yr old are coming over as our car failed it's MOT yesterday on silly BULBS. AARRRGGGHHHH !
So I'm going to lock myself in my craft room I think YEAHHHHHHH !

Is a Lambretta or a Vespa ? It's a Vendetta ...

Thats a cross between a Vespa and Lambretta. This card is for 3 challenges.

1. Sketch Saturday-Sketch to the left.

2. Secret Crafter-Teenage boy.

3. Papertake weekly-Faking it the paper is maquerading as demin and the tag is a bread tag by I Kandee.

The image is by Little Claires and the sentiment is Stampsaway. The main card is the back of a notepad, the stripe paper is Junkitz and the denim paper is from my stash bought absolutely ages and ages ago, in fact years. The ribbon and brads are from my stash too.

MONKEY'ING AROUND ...

For 2 challenges. The 1st is over at Colour Create where it's a colour combo of Neon Green and Black with the option of Leaves and a Charm. And then it's across to Dare U 2 Digi stamp for this fabulous sketch.

I'm not too sure on how neon this card is as It's not as bright as I thought, but hey ho.
The image is Digital pencil coloured with pencils and Sansador. The card is SU and Papermill. I used some chipboard leaves as a template ( I never like to use my chipboard). The sentiment is Stampsaway and the embellies are all from my stash.

Morning Campers ...

just a quick pop in before school and sleep to say HELLOOOOOOOO. I'm halfway thru a card for 2 challenges, maybe 3. I'l be back with that later.

Well what a week so far, but I've only got tonight left as I'm off on thurs. I'm at the hospital on friday morning early doors, so took thurs off.

Note much to tell ya all so am going to bob off n get DS reay for school as he wants to go on his scooter and that means leaving a bit earlier.

WEEK 2 Over at SOPHISTICATS CHALLENGE ...

and it's my DT sister Lyn's turn to set the challenge. So she decided that it should be to make a wallet for stamped images or reciepts or a gift card, anything really.

Here's my take on the challenge. The card is Papermill, the paper I'm not sure and the flowers are hand punched. The gems and brad thingy's are from my stash. I printed the note inside on the pc. The sentiment is from a Stampsaway set.

Finally a card ... WOOHOO !

For The Sugar Bowl challenge which is this fab sketch by Marlene and the added colour combo of pink and brown. When I saw it I knew exactly which stamp I was going to use. My Dress up Maggie. Isn't she a cutie ? I just love her.

The Papers are BG Urban Couture, the card is Papermill and SU. I've embossed a piece of pink with my CB Damask folder and then inked it. I've punched a flower out of the same piece and then added gems and feathers. All the embellies are from my stash.

COooooeeeeeyyyyy ....

I'm back, well I've never been away really. My pc has been running slow for the past week or so, which it shouldn't cos I had it upgraded a bit ago. Anyway we've sorted it now. We found loads of monitoring cookies in firefox. We've taken it off and this morning we've got a clean bill of health. Thank goodness !

I haven't done much crafting this week and what I have done I can't show you yet. BOO HOO! I think it'l be worth the wait though.

I had some wonderful news last week. My brother and his lady have got engaged ! I'm sooooo happy for them. I've said I'l make their wedding stationary for them as a gift.

I'l be back later with an award from my DT sister and hopefully something card like .

AGAIN !
Good Morning to all my blogland friends and relations. I've been trying to catch up and visit all your blogs and comment, BUT I keep getting a script error message up. So, I've give it up for now as a bad job. I'l pop back later and have another bash.

It must be ...

LOVE for this Tilda. She's for 2 challenges, Colour Create which is the colour combo of "Ruby, cream and gold". And , secondly for Just Magnolia where the challenge is "Ribbons and bows".
Tilda is coloured using pencils and Sansador with sparkle on the hearts and wings. The big heart is Magnolia too and coloured the same way. There is gold sparkle onthe heart aswell.
The card is SU and the cream piece has been put thru my CB using the Script folder and then I've gone over it with a gold ink pad. The DP is Sandylion, one of my fav's at the min. They are all edged using a gold marker pen. The ribbons are both from my stash.
The sentiment is from a set by Clear stamps.
There is only 1 bow but I think on this card less is more.

Sorry ...

I've not been about much over the past few days. I'm very tired and I just needed some time out. It's a fairly difficult time of year for me, what with the 1st anniversary of my best friends deatha nd this month it's the anniversary of my Mum's passing.

Normal crafting activities will resume tomorrow, I promise.
