yesterday was not at all like Autumn until evening time. This made me think of a song I heard on the radio. Billy Idol Nice day for a white wedding. Oh the 80's how wonderful they seem now.

Any way onto the card, which is for 5 challenges, yes 5.

1. DP2 - Inspired by a song. As mentioned above Billy Idol Nice day for a white wedding.

2. Allsorts - Lavender and Lace.

3. Secret Crafter - White and 1 other colour except on your image.

4. Sketch Saturday - Sketch. Have a wander over and take a look.

5. C.R.A.F.T - Ribbon, 2 shapes ( Oval and rectangles ) and glitter ( I used glamour dust ).

Everything is from my stash, bits and bobs I had hovering about my craft room. The image is by Mo Manning over at Digital pencil which can be accessed via the DP2 challenge blog. I've coloured it using pencils and sansodor and added lots of sparkle to the dress.

I put the oval thru my cuttlebug and then inked the words. The flowers are from my stash along with the lace and ribbon.

I've not been about lately. I've been busy doing, well I'm not really sure what. There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day.

Anyway all that's about to change. I'm changing my shifts at work and will be around in the day instead of sleeping WOO HOO ! I'm moving to the twighlight shift so will be home by about 2am. This means I get to go to bed before going to school with my boy. And as an added bonus I don't have to work on a Sunday, so a full weekend with my lovely family.

More time crafting, baking, reading, blogging and yes the dreaded " H " word LOL. Am so looking forward to it ! Challenges here I come so watch this space from next week.

5 Challenges Get Well card ....

I made this for my Step mum who's in hospital and it fits 5 challenges, yes 5. You should know that when I come back I do it with a bang LOL.

1. Cute card Thurs - Punched items ( flowers ). 2. Secret crafter - Colours of Autumn ( colours in papers ). 3. Craft your days away - Make your own flowers ( flowers had to be embossed and put together ). 4. Stamp something - Digi something ( image by Mo Manning ). 5. Papertake - Sketch ( layout of card ). Pop over to them all and have a go, it's fab fun.

The paper is My minds eye I think, hang on I'l check. Yeah it's called Bloom and grow. The card, ribbons and card candy are bits from my stash, the greeting is by Wild Rose studio. The image is coloured with pencils and Sansodor. Can you believe that I've been spelling it wrong all this time, never mind LOL.

Well here's my MIL and FIL's Silver wedding card. They celebrated 25 years of marriage on the 19th of July. Congrats to them.

It's made with a lovely stamp that I got recently at the bargain price of £4. I can that'l get alot of use as it could be used for all sorts of occassions.

It's amazing what you pick up by watching people that are doing classes at Love, Heart, Home. The link is in my sidebar, go take a look. I haven't sewn since I was at school so am fairly pleased with myself, unfortunately everyone here is unimpressed. Never mind at least I've learnt how to use the zipper foot. Next time a purse in Cath Kidston fabric and phone covers.

My 7 year old son made this for my MIL's birthday last week. He coloured the image beautifully, chose the paper and the ribbon. All I had to do is assemble it. He also wrote on the front in a

co ordinating pen colour. The flutterby is hand punched and he added gems to the middle of it.

I think he did really well with it. He's always pinching images and colouring them in. Well done Flynn ! I am biased though LOL.

I thought I'd enter this for the Papertake weekly challenge where anything goes this week.

Everything is from my stash. The paper is K & Co K Bailey, the card is from my bit box, the flowers are Bazill Bitties, Kaisercraft and from my stash. The ribbon I bought at Christmas but it looks great with this paper. The pearls are from my stash.

I've gone for the neglected by using crafter's metal. This heart has been lying around for ages just waiting to be used.

To be honest everything I've used has been in my stash for donkey's yonks. The paper is craftwork, the card is SU and something else from my stash, the gems, ribbon and lace I've had ages.

My gorjus fairy is coloured using sansador and pencils and is by Mo Manning. The sparkle is on the wings and in the gems. Everything else is from my stash. I love this colour combo, it's very summery.

Bet you can't guess who's image I've used ...... yes it's Mo Manning, I love her work so much I use them such alot. Big guy is coloured using sansador and pencils, my fav colouring medium. He's embellished with little red pearls on the tomatoes. The verse is by Art impressions and the sentimentsa are clear stamp set and Papermania. I've used hessian and rafia as embellies. All from my stash.

Friends and flowers forever ...

For 3 challenges. 1. Stamp Something - Sentimental with a sentiment. 2. Just Magnolia - Friends. 3. Pear tree Designs - Sparkle.

My lovely Tilda is coloured with pencils and Sansador, with sparkle added to her wings and to the rose. The paper, card, lace and gems are from my stash. The sentiment is by Stamps away and I've had it for donkey's yonks. One of my fav's though.

The flutterby and flowers are all hand punched with my own fair hands lol.

and for 3 challenges. With DS being off on half term I get less sleep but more craft time, so I thought I'd kill 2 birds with one stone as they say. I need to make more cards for the shop and enter some challenges while I'm at it.

So onto the challenges. 1. Charisma Cardz - For the boys/men. 2. Simon Says - Male/ Father's day and 3. Sketch Saturday - Pop over to their blog and take a look at this weeks great sketch.

The image is by the wonderful Mo Manning, coloured with pencils and Sansador. The card is the back of an A4 pad and SU which I distressed. The paper, twine and paper clips are from my stash. Paper clips because I couldn't find my eyelet tub. I really need to sort my craft room out. Anyway back to business. The sentiments are La Pashe and from a clear stamp set I've had for eternity.

An old sweet tube ....

turned into a pen pot for one of DS's teachers. And it's for 4 challenges.

1. DP2 - Pearls and flowers.

2. C.R.A.F.T Challenge - Alter and/or recycle.

(Old sweet tube).

3. Allsorts - Things with wings.

4. The Pink Elephant - Teacher's gifts.

This old tube had boiled sweets in it at Christmas and like all crafters I knew it would come in useful one day. I should've taken a before picture, never mind.

The image is Mo Manning coloured using pencils and Sansador. I've coloured him to look my DS in his school uniform. He's written a little thank you to his teacher on the back of the pot on some co ordinating card.

The flowers and flutterby's are all hand punched. The ribbon, paper and pearls are from my stash.

I'm going to fill it with am not sure yet, but I do have another 2 to do before the summer break. Plenty of time, she says.

This card is for the Papertake weekly challenge ( pastels ), and for my friends daughters 16th birthday. Her favourite colours are black, white and green. I chose this lovely pastel green as it's really pretty and it fits really well with this weeks challenge over at Papertake.

The image is of course by the wonderful Mo Manning and is coloured using pencils and Sansador. I've had the flowers, ribbon and paper for ages in my stash and thought they work really well together.

I got the images off the inter web and everything else is from my stash. I've had the paper ages and ages, the ribbon has been in my box for a good few years and I love the craftworks candy dots.

Oh bloggers !

Excuse the signature being at the top but blogger seems to be playing up and I can't move it. Oh hum. Couldn't get on yesterday either.
Well I made some lovely cards for the shop, but, yes you guessed it. I forgot to take pics. What a numbty !? LOL.

Have had a pounding headache all week, so not done too much. Am hoping to get some done over the next few days as I'm off work until Wednesday due to a family bereavement.

Over the next few weeks am going to try and get my craft room sorted by emptying it and then adding more work area and cupboards. I really didn't realise how much stuff I'd got. Ribbons all over the place, bits of card spilling out onto the floor and buttons trying to escape the chaos. Yes it really needs a good tidy up LOL.

Well I'm off for now.

Very similar to the other one, just a few more flowers on this one. She's soooo gorjus.

I bet you've all fallen off your chairs all these posts from me in one week. It's part of the new me. I've neglected my blog friends too long and I'm on a mission to get back into blo land and get posting and hopping again. Fingers crossed. Another Easter card

Isn't she so gorjuss ? She's one of my favourite Magnolia stamps and I coloured her using pencils and Sansador.

The paper is from a set my MIL got me and is so pretty. The pic doesn't really do the lovely colours justice.

The flowers are hand punched with craftwork candy and pearlescent gems in the middle. Again the sentiment is SU.

I love this Easter Bunny, he looks so fed up that the chick is on his head. He's coloured using pencils and Sansador, my favourite medium.

Everything is from my stash. I just love this paper and I've only got a bit left now. Don't even know where I got it from

The flowers are hand punched with pearlescent gems in the middle.

I think the sentiment is papermania, but not too sure.

This pretty Pink Gem girlie was one of the 1st stamps I bought when I started card making, I thinks she's so lovely.

with a Wedding card I made for an order. My friend has got about 5 or 6 weddings this year and wants them all co ordinated to the weddings.

This is the latest one, which was last weekend. The paper has got roses on and is edged in silver. I got the verse off the inter web and cut it out using nesties. The flutterbys are punched with pearls down their bodies.

I hope they liked it !

Off to get on with some colouring, have got another order to do and lots of cards to make for the new unit at the shop.

Well blogger finally let me on today. I gave up yesterday after numerous tries for some reason it just wouldn't load. But today 1st attempt WOOHOO .

If you're like me you'll like a crafty bargain. Well this was mine at the weekend. £1.50 each or all 4 for £4.00, good eh ! I know that the patterns are fairly old but still a fab treat. I got them from a new little stall that's opened in our market in Derby. There were good named stamps at silly prices, lots of 12 x 12 papers at 5 sheets for a £1 and lots of other scrummy crafty goodies. Needless to say I'l be going back this friday to have another look. I can hear my purse crying already LOL.

My friend asked me to make a card for her niece's 1st birthday. I've used a Mo Manning image (Kiki), which is one of my favourites. She's coloured using pencils and sansador and a little glamour dust. The paper and embellies are from my stash. In fact the paper my MIL got for me and is from a really pretty pack, not sure of the name.

Well my Dad was 71 years young at the weekend and this is the card I made for him. It's using one of Mo Manning's images, which I love because my Dad worked for years on the railways in Derby.

I've coloured him using pencils and Sansador and added floc and glamour dust to the steam.

The papers and card are all from my stash. Actually the base card is the back of an A4 pad. Very useful for boys and men's cards. And I love using garden twine on men's cards, it's better than ribbon at times.

I'm pleased to say that he loved it.

Wedding season is upon us ...

My friend has got 5 weddings this year and asked if I'd make the cards for her. No pressure !

This is the 1st one and I thought it fitted the bill for the challenge over at Pear tree designs as it's Valentines/anything to do with love. They offer a weekly challenge and this is the 1st time I've entered, so fingers crossed.

The card is a mix of SU and papermill, the image is by Mo Manning ( coloured using pencils and sansador ). All the embellies and ribbon are from my stash.

My friend loved the card and I'm just waiting to see if the happy couple did too.

I made for the shop. They are all coloured using pencils and Sansador and have kept them very simple as they seem to sell better. The images are by Penny Black, Mo Manning and La Pashe ( great mens images) I think.

I'm hoping to be back tomorrow with a challenge card, yes a challenge card. Keeping everything crossed for that one. Although, how I'l be able to craft with everything crossed I'm not sure LOL.

next week the man in the red suit will have been with pressies for everyone except me (nothing new there). DS will be all excited at what he's got and won't know what to do first. It'l be lovely !

Thought I'd pop on while I got the chance to say THANK YOU to all my patient followers and friends for their continued support during my long periods of AWOL. Due to illness, work and family commitments my blog posts have taken a back seat, but I'm hoping to get back on track in 2011.

I made this for my SIL's birthday last month. The image is PB and everything else is from my stash.
Not had much time to do much crafting for myself. I've been doing cards for the shop and work is really busy too. I've been finishing late and trying to fit my crafting in between sleep and all the usual day to day stuff.

For Mo's challenge over at DP2 which is to choose a season. I just love this ickle fella. He's coloured with pencils and sansador, with a sakura glitterpen on the bow. I've used DB flock and gd for the fur on the hat.The card is PM and the lovely paper is DB. The flower and brad are from my stash.

I'm back from the wilderness. Sorry I've not been about lately, but I've had stuff to deal with and am feeling very low again. Just to top it off I seem to have lost my mojo and haven't been in my craft room for a few weeks.
So my apologies and I'm intending to get something done before the weekend as I really need to change the range in the shop and I picked up an order last night at work, so onward and upward as they say.

Well what a week ...

I've been looking after my MIL's shop ( see the link in my sidebar ) while she had a well earned break.
I have got pics but my camera is still in my crate. I made a few things for the shop, which I really enjoyed. I don't usually paint as it's just not my thing, but I found it very relaxing and theraputic.
I had a few visitors over the week and I thank them for their company. Tracey, Marie, Leanne, Susan, Anne and Vicki.
Back to the norm now and my usual night work as of tonight. And back to my comfort zone CARDS. Yes I meed to make some, I feel the need to colour, cut and create. I sound like a hairdresser LOL.
I'l be back in my craft room this week as OH is on a course so I've got the company of DS and his non stop chatter LOL. You think I'm joking, you ask any of his grandparents, cousins, aunties and uncles.
Well that's me for now as I feel the need for some ZZZZZZZ's . I got a bit tipsy last night on my Dad's home made wine.LOL

I've made during my week off. The Teddies are by Pollycraft designs, the Victorian lady is from Digital two for Tuesday, the fisherman is a Mo Manning and the tiger is from Free digital stamps and I can't remember where Jim is from. All are coloured using pencils and Sansador.
I've not had anytime to do any challenge cards this week. I've been busy with my DS taking walks and playing on the wii. I managed to beat him twice at bowling, much to his disgust.

my Magnolia stamps. I can't remember when I last used them. Edwin and Tilda are for 3 challenges and for 2 friends who have finally got together.

1. Friday Sketchers - This fab sketch, 2. Just Magnolia - Vintage and 3. Stamp Something - Flowery something.

The card is SU and Papermill, the paper is by Craftwork cards and my lovely couple are coloured using pencils and Sansador. The ribbon, gems and candy are from my stash. The flowers are hand punched and then dry embossed.

Aaaaarrrrggggghhhhh ! I can't sleep ...

because it's bin day, my neighbour is clipping her garden,the puppy across the way is playing with a squeeky toy, the council are doing something over at the OAP flats and DS has disturbed me a couple of times. Once to tell me about his no existant "merucca", not sure where he's heard that probably at school or BBC 3 news. LOL.
Well I've got my cuppa tea so I'm off to try again. If I'm unsuccessful I'l be back later with a challenge card. Well might aswell do something constructive with my time.

Oh the musings of a 6 year old ...

As some of you know my DS is 6 but very old fashioned. I put it down to me being older and the fact that he thinks way too much for his age.
Well today we have finally found out where marmalade comes from. Now you may all think that it's made with oranges, but you're mistaken. Marmalade is made by butterflies that collect nectar to make it. Yes I did put butterflies. He knows it's true because he heard on the news. Which news channel you might ask. Well that'l be BBC 3. So now you know !

Not as amusing as a few weeks ago when I asked my OH to nip to Iceland to fetch a few bits. A voice from the back said " it's closed ", " no it isn't" I replied, " It's Sunday they close at 5 ".
" No Mum, it's shut 'cos the aeroplanes can't get out 'cos that volcano interrupted".

Oh to be 6 again and know what I know now.

That's got a Sweet pepper plant in their living room you know. Yes you guessed it I have. OH reckons it might stop the cat knocking the flowers off. Uuuurrrmmm if you ask me it's just asking for trouble, she ripped the wallpaper the other night. And that window does get alot of sun during the day so he's hoping for a bumper crop. Only time will tell, but I'l keep you informed.
Well I'm off for a kip before work tonight, oh the joys of working for an international parcel company.

That's my MIL and FIL. I made this for their wedding anni in the week. I've had the stamp ages and ages, but never really used it. It's coloured with pencils and Sansador, with some gems added for a bit of bling. The card and sentiment are SU and the ribbon is from my stash.

For Pink Gem and Saturday Challenge. Isn't she a cutie ? This is the 1st time I've used her and I love the clear image you get.
Over at pink Gem the challenge is the sketch above with the option to decorate the inside of your card and over at Saturday challenge it's all about summer holidays.
The papers are PM Summer blooms and the card is bits n bobs from my bit box. Cutie is coloured using my usual pencils and sansador. I just the love the effect you get. The flowers and brads are from my stash and both sentiments are PB.

Yes 4 challenges, 1 card so here goes.

1. Totally Papercrafts. - Is this recipe of 1 image, 1 ribbon, 2 papers and 3 embellies. The papers are We are memory keepers which I've had floating around in my stash for ages, the ribbon is some cotton sewing tape, the image is a Mo Manning coloured with pencils and sansador and the embellies are a brad, an eyelet and the wooden tag. I've covered it because it's got a letter on it.
2. DP2 - Masculine cards please. The image by Mo.
3. Stamp Something - Digital Something. The image by Mo.
4. DU2Digi Stamp - Stitching. I've put faux stitching on the cotton tape using a brown pen.

This card is for my BIL and SIL to celebrate the birth of their baby daughter Katie Jayne. Ans I've also used it for this weeks "Anything goes" challenge over at DP2 using Mo's wonderful baby Kiki.
She's coloured using pencils and sansador, my fav colouring medium. The paper is BG Lilykate, the card is Papermill and bazill and the flowers are made by moi, the gems and ribbon are from my stash. Oooops nearly forgot the sentiment is SU.

For 2 challenges, Friday sketches and Dare U 2 Digi stamp. Friday sketches is this wonderful sketch with gems and ribbon and DU2DS as always wants you to use a digi image or papers. This week the challenge is Blooms and butterflies.
I've used a Mo Manning image coloured with pencils and Sansador, MME papers and SU and papermill card. The ribbon, gems and bits n bobs are all from my stash. The flutterby is Papermania and the greeting is by Wild rose studio.

A few Father's Day cards ...

The beer one is for my FIL and the Big guy was what my 6 year old coloured for his Daddy.
Jim sitting is a Digi stamp boutique, the beer glass is a feebie but I can't recall from where ooops sorry !
I used Dove craft paper and papermill card for this card. The letter were cut on the MIL's cricut. The images are coloured using sansador and pencils and I've added some floc mixed with glamour dust to the beers head. If you look carefully you can see that one of his feet is bandaged as my FIL has broken his toe.
My son's card was made using SU and papermill card and some hessian and rafia from my stash. He coloured the image himself and I think it's brilliant for a 6 year old.The image of course is by Mo Manning, my fav images.

Well it's been a while ...

So I thought I'd share a few cards that I've made for family birthdays and orders. These are my MIL and SIL's birthday cards as they share the same date.
My MIL's is made using flowers that my good friend Tracey taught me how to do. It's amazing what you can do with a bit of tissue, a stamp, some stazon and glossy. The card is SU and Papermill, the paper is by Craftworks and the ribbon and beads are from my stash.
My SIL's is PB from the slapsick range coloured using sansador and pencils. Everything else is from my stash.
Both cards were totally loved, which is always a good feeling.

Here's my card and guest book I made for my brothers wedding. We had a lovely day apart from the weather. It rained so much that they had their photo's done in church. Everyone looked gorjus in there wedding attitre. What a wonderful day !

I'm back and chomping at the bit to get some cards done just for fun and the shop LOL. I'm on holiday after tonite with it being school holidays. I'm at the shop a couple of days due to MIL's commitments this week. I love it, I get to craft and and help in the shop and I don't even get paid. Getting my hands on the cricut is payment enuff LOL.

It's been busy this week what with getting back into the swing of going back to work, getting ready for tomorrow and trying to finish my brothers wedding stuff. Ooh and the odd order thrown in for good measure But am getting there slowly LOL.

A Challenge card WOOHOO !

Yes I've finally done it, I've made a challenge card WOOHOO ! It's for Colour Create where they would like us to use the colours black, cream and burnt orange, with the optional extra of using checks. My burnt orange does look a bit red/pinky, but it is the right colour I promise.

The image is Stampendous Agaphantus, the card is SU and Papermill, the paper is from my stash and is a basket weave pattern so not sure if that counts as a check. I've used rafia instead of ribbon and the flowers are from my stash. The greeting is by Wild rose studio.

Just a few cards I've made for orders and for general sale.

Well isn't it grim today. There was I hoping that DS's return to school would be all sunny. but no grey skies and rain predicted. I guess that Spring Sprung and gone.

He's gone off this morning with his Dad's deodourant on and his hair spiked, no that there's much to spike as he had it cut last week. But he looks smart and smells lovely, not quite sure who he's trying to impress at 6. They do start young nowadays LOL.

I'd better toddle off as I've got a ceiling and some paint work to do before entering the realms of creativity.

I know, I know, I've been AWOL yet again ...

Just thought I'd share a few cards I've made over the week. As you can see I've gone gor the simpler style on a couple of them, makes a quicker process. The little mouse was made for my step mums birthday on Thursday and she loved it. The others I've done for the shop. Haven't had much time this week with DS being off on holiday. I don't know why they have to have 2 weeks for Easter. He's ready to go back tomorrow, he was most upset when I told him he'd got another week off.

Thank you for the emails and the text messages some of my friends have sent. I'm ok and hoping to go back to work soon. I'l try and pop on a bit more from now on as I do miss blog hopping and seeing what beautiful creaions you've all made.

Well it's Sunday already ...

How does the week go so quickly ? Just though I'd pop on and show you some cards that I've made this week. Then I thought I'd do a bit of blog hopping to visit my blogland friends and see what you've all been up to.

The BnW card was made from bit and bobs from my stash, the duck one is a free image off a blog I found whilst hopping one day, the paper, the card and the greeting are SU and the rafia is from my stash. The Welldone card I've used SU image and deco'd it, I made the Lplate and then tore it and the greeting is by Papermania. My gorjus shopping gilie is a Mo Manning image, the paper is Dovecraft and the card is SU. Everything else is from my stash.

After nearly 2 years I still haven't managed to work out how to evenly put more than 1 picture in a post. I'l get it one day am sure.

Well I don't know about you but we are on Easter Countdown only 5 more sleeps to Easter and the end of school for 2 weeks. Acccording to my DS he's getting 400 eggs. Uuuurrrmmm I don't think so. Oh the disappointment next weekend. It must be wonderful to be 6.

Am off to grab the little monkey and get him bathed before bed and school again tomorrow.

Good Sunday Morning ...

And what a lovely day it is too. All sunny and bright, different from yesterday's grey day. let's enjoy it while it lasts LOL.

This is a Golden Wedding card that I made for an order. I used crafter's metal for the hearts. The image is Papermania stamped in black Stazon. It's dry embossed and then cut out. 1 is stuck directley to the matt and the other is stuck with a foam pad. The paper and matt card is DCWV, the flowers and brad are from my stash and the sentiment is from a set I picked up recently. Can't remember if it's Papermania or not. Oh hum memory like a sieve.

Off out with the MIL in a bit to see what we can find.

I made some cards GASP !

For the shop. MIL asked me for something a bit simpler and here they are and very pleased with them I am. I just love that bird in the heart, it stamps beautifully. Not bad for a free stamp off a well known craft stamping mag. The cocktail and pint are SU and my gorjus boy is one of Mo's.

DS has been off school today with a sore throat and temp. He seems to have picked up a bit now but he has been quiet all day. Yes Auntie Sarah and Nannie mum did say quiet. Unusual for him not to be chattering away to himself.

I'd better crack on with tea. Oh yes I feed him aswell. Might be back later if i can get into my craft room.

Yes 2 posts in 2 days. WOOHOO ! Must be on a roll. I've been and visited and commented on most of my fav blogs. Big round of applause !
Have got a few chores to do then and then its up to my room to create something. Not sure what yet but there will be something.
DS is on an inset day so he's watching TV at the min and then it'l be the WII or DS. Might pop over to the park later for a bit. See what he wants to do later.
Well I'd better go and get sorted and then I can crack on and get into that craft room of mine. I've got some new stamps that haven't even seen an ink pad yet and they're calling me. Shameful I know. Oh hum.

Yes I'm back, not that I've actually been anywhere exotic or anything. I'm off work at min and have been busy making cards for the shop and haven't had much blogging time.

Exciting news though. My MIL has a shop opening today selling handmade gifts and more. It's called LOVE, HEART, HOME.

Made with LOVE, from the HEART, for the HOME. Good eh ?
Maz is a very talented lady who taught me alot about crafting and got me into the habit. Does that sound bad ? Anyway the shop is in Shepshed on Charnwood Road, about 5 mins from Loughborough.

Come along and take a look at the wonderful things she's made. The 1st 25 customers get a free gift and if you've got one of her leaflets you get a raffle ticket too. The prize is a £20 gift voucher for the shop. Fandabby dosey !

A.W.O.L. AGAIN !!!!!!!!

So sorry for not being about much lately. I've been busy finishing my bro's wedding stationary and work has been a tad busy for me as we've been short staffed. Oh hum life goes on.

Well my Dad was 70 yesterday and what a day we had. It was lovely all the family together round a table for a lovely meal and then back to Dad n Sue's for home brew tasting. Needless to say there were a few rosey cheeks and sluuuuurrrrrred sentances. I was driving so was as sober as a judge.
It was so nice to catch up with everyone again. There'l be a few sore heads this morning especially at my Dad's. Lets just say they both enjoyed themselves LOL.

Half term here this next week so DS will be teaching me the delights of Super Mario brothers, Lego Star Wars, Lego Batman and various other WII delights. Oh joy. At least hubby is off for 3 days and will be able to take the challenge of WII. Me ? Well I'l be uuurrrrrmmmm lets see oh yes ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. !

Am off now to get ready to to Wilko's for a very exciting new MOP ! Boy I know how to live ! And before I start getting messages I do know that it's Sunday and yes this is the 2nd Sunday I will have got DRESSED ! Shock horror ! Don't worry I'l be back to routine next week LOL.

I've used BG Ambrosia paper and put it thru my CB and then inked it. The buttons have got Hang 10 fibres thru them.

Woohoo it's the weekend !

I'm spending the day crafting can't wait. Hubby and DS are off out so am home alone ! Although I have to push that plug in thingy that sucks stuff up off the floor, you know the button, brad and gem eater ! But Sssshhh don't tell the crafting police or I'l be in trouble LOL !

DS has been off for a couple of days with a virus of some sort, so am absolutely shattered. Was going to do some crafting but I don't think the match sticks will hold much longer LOL !
Oh the joys of being a Mummy and working nights ! Still it pays for my habit and obsession, crafting that is. !
Hopefully he'l be fit for school in the morning and I can get some Zzzzzzz 's in and some crafting.

Challenges that is.

The 1st is this fab sketch by Lisa over at DP2. Numero duo is ABC and L is for Layering and fab 3 is over at Stamp Something where it's a colour combo of Blue and White. Any shades of blue welcome.

The image is a Mo manning, the paper and 2 shades of blue card is SU and the white card is Papermill that's been CB'd and then inked.

My snowflakes are hand punched and finished off with pearls from my stash.

I made it to my craft room ...

And made this card for 4 challenges and my friends birthday. The pic isn't great so my apologies.
The 1st one is Cupcake Crafts where the challenge is to go "Girly Girly". Number 2 is over at A spoonful of sugar to follow their recipe of "3 papers, 1 ribbon, 3 flowers and 3 buttons". Next it was a dash across to The Pink Elephant and "Birthdays", then I just made it over Simon Says to gather a bit of "Shabby Chic".
The image is a Gorjuss girly, the papers, card and sentiments are SU. I hand punched the flowers and inked the edges. The gems, ribbon and buttons are all from my stash.

fellow bloggers. I'm hoping to get some serious crafting done over the weekend as I'm back to work on Sunday. BOO HOO ! (She whispered as her boss looks at her blog sometimes).

Well it's decided to rain here today and its wet and very cold. Just what I need when I'm off into town to do some errands. Never mind I'l cheer myself up with a card magazine.

I followed the sketch over at Friday Sketchers to make this Mario card for DS's 6 th birthday.

The image is off tinternet and everything else is from my stash and from my bit box, which I'm trying to work my way thru'.

I haven't done anyway near as much as I'd like cos we had a powercut and it blew my monitor when it came back on. You can imagine what colour the air was around here.

Fortunately we had a spare one which hubby sorted out when he got home.

What a very naughty blogger am I. I promised myself I'd be more attentive to my blogland friends, and here I am not posted since the 4th of Jan.

My apologies, but in my defence I've been extremely productive doing my brothers Wedding stationary. It's getting there and I'l share some picci's later.

Today is challenge day for me, so be prepared for a few posts later LOL !
It's the school run and then nose to the grindstone, well craftroom. I can't wait !

for this card I've done to cover the challenge over at Just Magnolia, which is this fantastic sketch. And, Colour Create where it's the colour combo of Lemon and Lime with the option of Spring/Summer flowers.

All bases covered me thinks and I've rotated the sketch to accomodate my gorjus Tilda.

This card is made totally with bits n bobs from my card/paper bit box, and from my stash. The flutterby's are punched using my Chrissie pressie from DS.

Over at Colour Create for challenge 33 with this card.

The challenge was a colour combo of Lilac, Aqua, Black and white. It was announced a couple of weeks ago but 'cos I've not been blogging I didn't read it until yesterday. What a lovely suprise !
Can't wait to get my mitts on these cuties. Aren't they just adorable.
